Tips for consultants on the anymind platform.

Contents:

- How can I start consulting on anymind?

To start consulting on anymind, you need to have a client account first. Then, you can expand it by adding an individual consultant’s account. Just click Become a consultant in the menu, fill in your profile in a clear and convincing way to encourage future clients to call you, and lastly — add a consultation. You can do it in the Profile and consultations tab.

If you want to create a team of consultants and invite other people to give consultations with you, click Create an organization account. You can have both the individual consultant and the organization account and switch between them as you wish. Read more about individual and organization accounts here.

- What’s the difference between individual and organization accounts?

The individual account was designed with individual consultants in mind. With this account, you work and settle your finances all by yourself. It’s a good choice for freelancers, bloggers, or one-person businesses. You can set up an individual account both as a natural or a legal person.

As a legal person, you can also create a company account by clicking Create an organization account in the menu. Your individual consultations will become company consultations then.

The organization account was designed with companies and portals in mind, those who wish to handle consultations given by many consultants. With the company account, you can give consultations by yourself, but you can also invite your teammates or independent consultants to do it. When it comes to finances, you are responsible for settling your employees’ earnings outside the platform (meaning: deciding who earns how much and handling their salaries or bonuses or another form of settlement), but we take care of the independent consultants’ settlements — and you get a commission fee: 10% of what the client pays for a consultation. Organization accounts are available only for companies (legal persons).

If you want to answer calls for consultations you’ve added as an organization, you can create an individual account using the Become a consultant option from the menu, then just add yourself to the organization consultations of your choice.

You can have both the consultant and the organization account and switch between them whenever you wish.

- How can I edit my profile?

You can edit your profile anytime by logging in to your anymind account and entering the Profile and consultations tab from the menu in the upper right corner of the page. There, on the right side of your name and surname, you’ll find the Edit option.

- How can I add a consultation?

To add a consultation, go to the Profile and consultations tab in your consultant or company account, then click Add a consultation and fill in the required fields.

- How can I edit or remove a consultation?

To edit or remove a consultation, go to the Profile and consultations tab in your consultant or company account, then click on the consultation you wish to edit or remove. On the bottom of the page, you’ll see the consultation’s details section. Click Edit.

At the bottom of the new screen you’ll see two buttons:

  • Save, which allows you to save any changes in the consultation’s description,

  • Remove, which lets you remove the consultation.

- What price should I set for my consultation?

It’s up to you. The consultation’s owner decides about the price per minute. The price per minute can be anything from 0.50 PLN to 99 PLN. The client will always see the gross price, including our fee.

You can also give free consultations.

- How can I invite people to consult for me?

If you have an organization account, you can invite other people to give consultations for you. They can be either independent consultants or your employees (see what’s the difference).

Select Profile and consultations from the menu, then click on consultation of your choice to display its details. In the Consultants section, you will see the Add a consultant button. To invite someone to give this consultation, just click the button and provide the person’s e-mail address, then click Send.

You can track the progress of pending invitations and browse your consultants in the consultation’s details.

- What can I do when I get invited to a consultation?

When you receive an invitation to join a consultation as a consultant, you will be notified by e-mail and in the Invitations tab on your account. You can either accept or reject the invitation.

If you accept the invitation, you will be able to give consultations within the consultation you joined. The consultation will be also added to your anymind profile.

You should discuss the price per minute, topic, and other details of the consultation directly with its owner.

- How can I leave a consultation?

To resign from a consultation you joined by invitation, go to Profile and consultations tab on your account, then click selected consultation to display its details. At the bottom of the details section, you will find the Leave consultation button.

- What’s the difference between independent consultants and employees?

With an organization account, you can offer two types of consultations:

  • consultations given by the organization’s employees,

  • consultations given by independent consultants.

Employees consulting for an organization make all financial settlements with the consultation’s owner. All the money they earn within the employee consultation goes to the consultation’s owner first, and the owner is responsible for making due payments to the employees and paying taxes.

Independent consultants receive their part of the money they earn within the consultation directly, and they are responsible for paying due taxes on their own. The organization that owns the consultation also receives its part of the earnings (10%) directly.

- How can I share a consultation?

To share a consultation, enter the Profile and consultations tab on your anymind account, then go to the consultation of your choice. Then simply copy the URL in your browser, and paste it wherever you wish.

You can also share a link to your anymind widget. In the details section at the bottom of the page, you will see the Widget code button. Click it, and it the new window you’ll find a direct URL to this consultation (just copy and paste it wherever you wish) and share buttons for LinkedIn and Facebook.

- How can I share my profile?

To share your anymind profile, enter the Profile and consultations tab. On the right, next to your name and surname, you will see an arrow. Just click it, and the direct URL to your profile will be copied to your clipboard so you can paste it wherever you wish.

- How can I change my availability status?

To change your availability status, click your avatar in the upper right corner of the page. In the menu, you’ll see a slider with two options: Online and Offline. Note that your availability status doesn’t change when you close your mobile app (unless you don’t open it for the next 60 days – after that period you’ll be logged out automatically, and your status will change to Offline).

- What happens when a client files a complaint?

If a client files a complaint about your consultation, you will have 7 days to reply to it: accept it or reject it. If you reject it, our team will investigate the complaint to make sure the client gets the maximum care — we will let you know within 14 days. If you accept it, the client will get a refund.

If you don’t reply to the complaint within 7 days, it will be automatically accepted.

You will be receiving e-mail notifications throughout the process.

- Can I report a client?

To report a client, use the Report a client option in the call summary. You can do it immediately after the call, or later, in your dashboard.

- What can I do if I don’t receive notifications about incoming calls?

If you don’t receive notifications about incoming or missed calls, make sure you have verified your e-mail address assigned to your anymind account.

If your e-mail address is verified but you still don’t receive notifications, check your smartphone. It may be blocking applications from working in the background. This usually happens with Huawei, Samsung, Nokia, OnePlus and Xiaomi phones, and does not affect our app only. It looks different in each phone model, but in most cases, you can find this option in battery optimization settings or applications settings.

Allow anymind to work in the background, and the notifications should work just fine. This won’t have a big impact on your battery life.

- How can I add anymind widget to my website?

Wordpress sites

If you run a Wordpress website, you only need to install and configure the anymind plugin in your dashboard. The plugin requires a widget ID to the consultation of your choice — you will find it in the consultation’s details section inside the Profile and consultations tab on your anymind account.

Other sites

If you run a non-Wordpress website, you can install anymind widget manually by inserting a small piece of HTML code into your site’s code. It should be inserted in a particular place in order to work properly, so if you’re not sure how to edit code or someone else takes care of your website, please ask your site’s admin for help.

To install anymind widget:

1) enter the Profile and consultations tab on your anymind account and go to the consultation of your choice to display its details,

2) click Widget code, then Install your widget,

3) select the type of the anymind button you’d like to add to your website:

  • floating button (always shown in the lower right corner of the page),

  • static button (shown wherever you choose).

copy the HTML code from point 2 of the Generate your widget screen to your clipboard,

4) open the HTML code of your website and set the cursor directly before the closing “</body>” tag,

5) paste the HTML code from point 2 of the Generate your widget screen that you saved to your clipboard right where the cursor is (you can press Enter and move the “</body>” tag to a new line for more clarity),

6) if you selected the floating button, that’s it — go to the next step; if you selected the static button, copy and paste the code from point 3 of the Generate your widget screen to the HTML code of your website right where you’d like to display it,

7) update your website, just save it and upload it to the server.

Be careful not to break any tags in the process. Before you paste any code into your website’s code, make sure the cursor stands in the right places, between the tags (after “>” and before “<”).

One more thing: whichever option you choose, you need to use the HTTPS protocol to allow people to call you directly on your page. If you use the HTTP protocol, our widget will open in a new window for safety reasons.

- How much does anymind cost?

Using our website and mobile apps is free. We only charge a commission fee for consultations given within anymind. Price per minute for each consultation is always set by its owner (individual consultant or organization).

- How much will I earn as a consultant?

Price per minute for each consultation is always set by its owner (individual consultant or organization). It’s the gross price that the client sees. We charge a commission fee during payout.

By accepting an organization’s invitation to join their consultation, you confirm that you agree to the price they set for the consultation and the way you will be receiving your earnings (as an employee or independent consultant).

Consultations are billed per second.

This is how consultants’ earnings look like in percentage terms:

consultant giving individual consultations

consultant giving consultations for an organization

on anymind.com platform

as an employee

as an independent consultant

gets 83% of the gross amount, 17% goes to anymind

organization they consult for gets 93% of the gross amount, 7% goes to anymind

gets 83% of the gross amount, 10% goes to the organization, 7% goes to anymind

  • As an individual consultant giving your own consultations, you can receive as much as 83% of the gross amount. The remaining 17% will go to us.

  • As an independent consultant giving consultations for an organization, you will receive 83% of the gross amount. 10% will go to the organization, 7% to us.

  • As a consultant giving employee consultations for an organization, you will receive as much money as you settle with the organization. The organization will receive 93% of the gross sum and then pay their employees on their own terms; 7% will go to us.

Each month during payout we will send you a VAT invoice for our commission fee.

- Do I have to run a company to become a consultant?

If you want to give consultations as an individual consultant, you don’t have to be a legal person (own a company). Your clients will know that you can’t issue VAT invoices. With us, you will settle accounts as a freelancer — you don’t need to sign any additional agreements, it’s enough that you accept our terms of service. We’ll send you a PIT-11 form at the end of the billing period.

But you can consult as a legal person (company) if you want.

Declare your preferred billing method in the Payments tab on your anymind account, in the Billing details section. Select whether you want to be billed as a natural person or a company, and fill in the required details.

Remember that in both cases you have to pay the income tax.

If you want to create an organization account, you need to be a legal person.

- When will I receive the money I earned?

Before the 15th day of the month following the month in which you have earned the money, we will transfer all available funds to your declared bank account (in Payments / Payout method settings). Minus our commission fee, for which you will receive a VAT invoice from us.

In other words, you will receive the money you earned in June not later than on the 15th of the following July.

- What are frozen funds?

We “freeze” the money you made on a consultation for 14 days after the consultation, in case a client wants to file a complaint. That money is released right after the 14-day period, unless the client files a complaint. If that happens, the money on your anymind account for that particular consultation will be blocked until the complaint is resolved.

If the complaint gets accepted, the money will be returned to your client. If the complaint gets rejected, the money will be sent to you in the coming payout.

- How do financial settlements within anymind work?

There are three types of financial settlements within anymind:

  1. Settlements with independent consultants

  2. Settlements with organizations and their employees

  3. Settlements with organizations and their independent consultants

1. Settlements with independent consultants

If you give consultations on your own (as an individual consultant) or as an independent consultant for an organization that doesn’t employ you, you are responsible for all the income you earn on consultations, issuing invoices to clients (if you are a legal person) per request, and paying due taxes.

You will be receiving your monthly earnings from us not later than on the 15th day of the month following the month of the consultations, together with VAT invoices for our commission fee.

2. Settlements with organizations and their employees

If you give consultations for an organization that employs you, you don’t have to worry about any financial settlements. We will settle accounts with the consultations owner, that is — with your employer. We don’t interfere in employer-employee relations, so it’s up to you and your company how much of the money you will be receiving and how.

The organization will be receiving its monthly earnings from us not later than on the 15th day of the month following the month of the consultations, together with VAT invoices for our commission fee.

3. Settlements with organizations and their independent consultants

If you give consultations as an independent consultant for an organization that doesn’t employ you, see point 1.

If you offer consultations as an organization with independent consultants, it’s the independent consultants duty to take care of invoicing their clients per request (if they are legal persons), and pay due taxes for their income. You are responsible for paying your own taxes, and for issuing monthly VAT invoices for us — for your 10%, so that we can pay it out to you.

To make it easier for you, by your agreement expressed while creating the organization account, we can issue invoices in your name for ourselves — you will only have to accept them via e-mail. It’s called „self-billing”.

- Do I need to pay taxes for the money I earn via anymind?

Yes, in anymind we use gross amounts.

You are responsible for paying due taxes for your income earned on consultations if:

  • you give consultations on your own with an individual account as a natural or legal person (company),

  • you own an organization account and give consultations on your own or with other consultants,

  • you give consultations as an independent consultant for an organization that doesn’t employ you.

You will find a lot of useful tax information on https://www.biznes.gov.pl/en — a website run by Polish Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology.

- How does anymind spend the commission fee?

The commission fee allows us to:

  • provide you with client service and support,

  • ensure quick and safe payments processing,

  • maintain and develop our platform and mobile apps,

  • cooperate with portals to promote consultants,

  • do all sorts of promotional activities to attract more users to anymind.
